Small Wins Dashboard is a goal-tracking and culture-building tool designed by educators, for educators. Founded by Kippy Smith, the platform helps teachers, schools, and organizations visualize and celebrate the incremental progress that leads to meaningful growth—both individually and as a team.
THE CHALLENGE
In 2025, Small Wins Dashboard joined the sideby family, uniting two platforms deeply committed to educator-led innovation. While the partnership was natural—rooted in shared beliefs and overlapping founder relationships—SWD needed a web presence that reflected this connection while honoring its own mission: making progress visible and celebrating small wins.
OUR APPROACH
Drawing inspiration from the sideby visual system, we created a cohesive brand family experience using sideby's vibrant color palette and playful, educator-centered typography. We kept the eraser background motif to maintain that educational connection.
The highlighter motif continues the educator graphic language—a visual metaphor for making progress visible and worth celebrating, similar to sideby's classroom-inspired elements. Those bold underlines emphasize key phrases like "Learning is progress" and "team's efforts," reinforcing the core message that small, consistent actions matter.
We integrated multimedia throughout the site to show the dashboard in action and highlight actual small wins from educators, bringing the platform's impact to life. Combined with authentic educator photography and bold color blocking, we maintained sideby's warm, collaborative energy.
Small Wins Dashboard now has a website that feels part of the sideby family while maintaining its own identity—one that brings to life the platform's core belief: when educators see and celebrate incremental progress together, everyone wins.
